Cosmetic Fillings are an attractive, natural-looking alternative to metal fillings. Cosmetic fillings are usually made of composite and are often placed directly in one appointment. Alternatively, especially for larger fillings, durable and aesthetic porcelain is crafted precisely in a laboratory and placed at a subsequent appointment. Save a nerve-damaged tooth with root canal therapy. Here, the nerve space is cleaned, disinfected and filled with a bio-compatible material to stop bacteria flourishing. Root canal therapy may be completed in one to three visits. Placement of a crown after root canal treatment helps to resist fracture, and improve the seal of the tooth against recurrent infection.

Child Dental Benefits Schedule Bulk-billing with no gap payment is available for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule. This is a new child dental program that provides eligible children and teenagers aged 2 to 17 with up to $1000 for basic dental services. It is capped over two consecutive calendar years. Eligible families, teenagers and approved care organisations will receive a letter from the Australian Government to confirm eligibility. If your child is eligible, all you need to do is call us to book an appointment.

Sports mouthguards can reduce the impact of injury on the teeth and surrounding structures. Our laminated, custom-fit mouthguards can be designed for the adult mouth and heavy duty use, or to fit the growing mouth with erupting teeth. You can choose your colour and identification labels.

Dr Michael Chen has been practising oral surgery for over twenty years. He carries out extractions, surgical removal of teeth and minor oral surgery in our offices or at Chatswood Private Hospital and Pittwater Day Surgery. Additionally, nitrous oxide (“happy gas”), IV sedation, and general anaesthesia are available.

Implants are a highly-successful tooth replacement solution, upon which crowns, bridges or dentures are secured. The advantages of implants include restored confidence in function, high aesthetics and independence from adjacent teeth. They may not be superior to natural teeth, but they serve most patients well and for some they are a life changing experience.
Over the last seventeen years Dr Lester Clifford has gained extensive implant experience and he and Dr Bezhad Habibi have worked as a surgical and restorative team since 1998.

Bernie McAlary is our in-house prosthetist who provides all denture services. Bernie is certified to treat patients as well as to fabricate dentures. In this way, he can integrate the clinical and technical art of denture provision seamlessly. He can help you with implant-supported or traditional dentures, metal or flexible dentures, repairs, relines and additions.

We have specifically allocated emergency appointments available seven days a week. We endeavour to accommodate our emergency patients on the same day.

For anxious patients, we offer fillings, extractions and wisdom teeth removal under nitrous gas, after which it is safe to drive home.
Alternatively, we offer IV sedation, with the help of our visiting medical doctor, Dr Bree Belford, who uses standard sedative and pain relieving drugs. During this deeply relaxing dream-like state, you are still able to talk and respond, but will not remember the procedure afterwards.

Our practice utilises only digital radiography, offering a much lower radiation emission than conventional x-rays. Our modern 3D imaging technology, similar to a medical CT scan, but at a lower exposure, provides more extensive coverage of the teeth and surrounding structures with great detail and accuracy.
